Thank you Insulation From Hale for taking care of our 26 year old air leak with four inches of foam, more fiberglass insulation and a complete seal off to the joists in the adjoining rooms. You did great work! I am looking forward to my new dining room floor and for the first time in 26 years it won't be freezing cold in the winter time. When we built our home 26 years ago we had all the framed walls sprayed with foam insulation to prevent air leaks. We discovered last week that they completely skipped both our bay windows on the back of the house that are cantilevered over the edge of the foundation. Fiberglass insulation had been put in but nothing was there to stop the cold air from just whistling through and right into the joists underneath the floors and above the ceilings of the basement. The aluminum soffit and other cracks had not even been caulked. Hoping for an even lower heating bill this winter.
